Mikab installed a complete turn-key AM transmitter site. The work included:
A complete renvovation of what is now the transmitter building.
Installing mats from the parking lot out across the swamp to the
locations of each tower to allow access.
Foundation work. Foundations were installed in a swamp for the five
transmission towers, along with two 5 meter satellite dishes and a back-up
generator. The foundations were steel piles driven into the swamp with concrete
caps poured 4 feet above the swamp for environmental reasons.
Installing wooden walkways from the transmitter building out to the
towers. Wood piles were driven to support the catwalk.
Erecting five transmission towers.
Running all cables from the towers back to the transmission building.
